Octavo, xiii, 279pp. Cream cloth, title in gilt on spine and front cover with illustration. Frontispiece portrait. Numerous full page illustrations and fold-out map at rear. This copy is not the limited edition signed by Edward, the Prince of Wales, but the bindings are identical. Light soiling to front cover, some wear from handling, otherwise a very good copy.

Comments: Alec John Dawson was a major during World War I. He was awarded MBE for his service as a military propagandist. His most noteworthy work was Finn the Wolfhouse, published in 1908.
