Publishers first edition, first state, with “Tales Of A Wayside Inn” appearing unpriced and described as “Nearly Ready” on page 11 of the advertisements. (Bal 12136). An excellent copy, in near fine condition.
Comments: Published in 1863, Tales of a Wayside Inn is a collection of poems by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. It contains one of Longfellow’s best known poems, Paul Revere’s Ride.
