Shelf wear to bottom edge of spine and light spotting to covers. Housed in publisher’s original cardboard slipcase covered in marbled paper, title printed on paper label attached to spine, spots on spine label, light shelf wear, chipping along open edges and corners, boards beginning to separate along one open edge but case is stable. From a limited edition of 1500 copies, this being number 1265, signed by the illustrator, Fritz Eichenberg. A nice example.
