Quarto, 445pp. Original brown cloth, title stamped on spine. Gilt embossing on cover, title within a decorative border and a reproduction of the 1866 state seal of Ohio. Bound with a brown cord tied in a knot along the front cover. Brown endpapers. Text clean throughout, no marks or notations. Closed tear along bottom edge of pages 353/354, not affecting text. Slight lean to text block. Cover edges rubbed and worn. Contains hundreds of black and white portraits. A nice example of this work on the leading men of southern Ohio in the first quarter of the twentieth century.
