Solid text block, previous ownership stamp on front free endpaper, toning to endpapers, foxing to cover, top edge dyed red, a very good example. In publisher’s dust jacket, $1.50 retail price on front flap, toning to verso, faint soiling to back cover, a small closed tear on upper corner, a very good example. A scarce work.
Peter Fleming (1907-1971) was a British writer and soldier. Before the onset of World War II, Fleming wrote The Flying Visit, in which he imagined Hitler flying to Britain to propose peace with the country.
