Solid text block, faint toning to endpapers, a touch of rubbing to corners, a near fine example. In publisher’s first state dust jacket, $1.25 retail price on front flap, some wear and soiling to flap folds and spine, limited restoration work done to spine and corners, a very good example. Scarce copy in an attractive dust jacket.
Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats by Nobel Prize winner T.S. Eliot (1888-1965) was adapted by Andrew Lloyd Webber into the famous musical Cats in 1981, winning seven Tony Awards in 1983.
