Comments: In the early 1930s, Henri Matisse was paid $5000 by Limited Edition Club founder George Macy to do twenty-six full page etchings for Ulysses. Many believe that he never read the novel before beginning the compositions. This limited edition run of 1,500 copies were all signed by artist Henri Matisse, but only 250 were also signed by author James Joyce. An excellent copy.
