Comments: This scarce work contains the Ohio Company’s purchase of the Ohio territory and the details of Connecticut Western Reserve. The book was compiled by Gustavus Swan at the direction of the Ohio Legislature. Swan was a lawyer and banker in the state of Ohio and was later appointed to fill a vacancy on the Ohio Supreme Court in 1829.
