Clean pages, near fine. Publisher’s first state dust jacket, near fine condition, with $4.75 price and ‘8/54’ showing on front flap, light wear to top edge of spine. An excellent example in a near fine jacket.
William Faulkner considered A Fable to be his masterpiece, describing it as “the best work of my life and maybe of my time.” The book won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1955.
