Stated “first edition after printing of 260 De Luxe copies” on the copyright page. Top edge yellow. Photographic frontispiece portraits in each volume. In publishers scarce slipcase, title on label affixed to side, some wear and soiling. Contains the “Warsaw Error” in Volume I and correction of “ears” to “eyes.” Complete with 22 photographic plates, maps, woodcuts and illustrations.
