Some separation to endpaper at seam of front cover. Rubbing to cloth, primarily along spine. Includes map of the route Roosevelt took through Africa and numerous other illustrated plates. This third edition, published the same year as the first edition, is distinguishable by the green ribbed cloth and gilt lettering. The first edition, first issue, was not released in green cloth. The second printing of the third edition has the lettering in all black.
