Octavo, 291pp. Beige cloth, title printed on spine and cover. Stated “first printing” on copyright page. Bookplate affixed to front free endpaper. Top edge dyed pink. Faint soiling to cloth, primarily along spine. Internally fine. An excellent example, lacking the scarce first state dust jacket.

All Quiet on the Western Front, written by former German soldier Erich Maria Remarque, details the experiences of German soldiers during World War I. First published serially in Germany in late 1928, by early 1929, it was translated into English. By 1930, the book had been adapted into an Academy Award-winning movie, bringing it worldwide acclaim.
