Octavo, xxvi, 270pp. Black cloth, title in gilt on spine. Toning to front endpaper, clean text otherwise. In publisher’s dust jacket, retail price on front flap, archival tape repair along bottom edge of verso, light toning to spine, a very good example. Signed by the author on the front free endpaper in German, dated 1959.
This work was originally published in Germany in 1954 under the title Das Gewissen Steht Auf. It was translated by Rosemary O’Neill.
