Previous owners holiday dedication on front free endpaper. Scarce in publishers dust jacket, with “42S. net” on front panel, chipping at edges, reinforced at folds with archival tape, stain along top edge affecting front panel, loss of title at top edge of spine. Signed by author Aldous Huxley on limitation page, which states: “Of this edition of Essays New And Old, 650 copies have been printed, of which the last 50 are complimentary. This type has been distributed. This is no. 9. Aldous Huxley.”
