Signed by General Jonathan M. Wainwright, In Memoriam, George S. Patton, Jr., printed in 1946 at the Third Army Headquarters in occupied Germany. This is from the private collection of Gen. Colin Powell.
Octavo, 29pp. Stiff brown wrappers, illustrated with photographs, bound at spine with staples. Even toning throughout. This work was produced in March 1946, following the death of General George S. Patton in a car accident in December 1945. It is signed by General Wainwright in his characteristic green pen on the front cover.
