In publishers first edition dust jacket, retail price on front flap, fine condition. Inscribed by the author to Alexandra Beebe, “Whom I have seen grow gracefully from childhood to young womanhood, and been the better for the privilege. Arthur Krock. Washington, D.C. Christmas, 1966.”

Comments: Arthur Krock was a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist and known as the “Dean of the Washington Newsmen.” Throughout his career he was close with the Kennedy family, publishing favorable articles at the behest of Joe P. Kennedy and contributing to John F. Kennedy’s first book, Why England Slept.
