Limited edition of the Memoirs of Harry Truman, in slipcase. Thick octavo, [in two volumes], xi, 596pp; xi, 594pp. Blue leather, title in gilt on spine of both volumes. Top edge gilt. In publishers cardboard slipcase, title on label affixed to side. This leather-bound set was produced for the personal use of President Harry Truman when he maintained an office on-site at the Truman Library. They were eventually sold by the library as sets. (Burns 0016) An exceptional set in fine condition.
