Includes correspondence between author Ann Petry and the University of Chicago Press, documenting her request and purchase of this volume of Midway. Petry specifically requested the publication that features Jeannette Mirsky’s “Zeroing in on a Fugitive Figure” and Harry Howe Ransom’s “Great Britain’s Secret, Secret Service.” A unique example.
