The recipient of this book, J. Lee Friedman, was the “grand old man” of entertainment promotion in Atlanta. He spent 60 years in the entertainment business, bringing world-class entertainment acts to the Atlanta area. Friedman encouraged the integration of the entertainment venues in the Atlanta area, uniting him with the mission of Martin Luther King and Coretta Scott King. Mr. Friedman died in 2008.
