Both volumes appear unread, near fine examples. Publisher’s original dust jackets in near fine condition, noting “Autographed Edition, Two Volumes, Boxed” on front panels of both volumes, light sunning to spine. Housed in publisher’s slipcase, wear along open panel, solid binding. Signed in Volume I on tipped-in signature page by Henry L. Stimson.
Henry L. Stimson (1867-1950) served as Secretary of War from 1911-13, Secretary of State from 1929-33 and Secretary of War from 1940-45.
