Description

First edition of Point Counter Point by Aldous Huxley.

Octavo, 432pp. Red cloth, title on printed label affixed to spine. Stated “First Edition” on copyright page. Solid text block, faint foxing on fore edge, top dyed red, a touch of staining on bottom of spine, a near fine example. Lacking the publisher’s dust jacket.

Aldous Huxley (1894-1963) was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature nine times. Point Counter Point notably connects a number of various characters and plot lines based on real people instead of following a traditional single-narrative structure. Huxley’s novel following Point Counter Point was one of his most well-known, Brave New World.
