Folio, [six plates]. Maroon paper chemise, title printed in gilt on front cover. Each plate measures 16.5″ x 24″. The six illustrated plates were first published in 1843, but were reproduced by Frost & Reed Ltd of London and printed in Austria. The six plates include the following scenes: The Steamer Yellow-Stone (1833), Fort Pierre on the Missouri, Fort Clark on the Missouri (1834), The White Castels on the Upper Missouri, View of the Rocky Mountains and Encampment of the Piekann Indians.
