Publisher’s original cloth covers laid in place, with author’s emblem in gilt on front cover. New endpapers. No additional printings listed. Light wear to original cloth, faint soiling to gilt edge. Previous ownership inscription on second free endpaper, dated “1899.” Small loss to corner on page vii.
