Personally inscribed to Ms. Lauren Bacall from Pat Kennedy Lawford: “June 1969: For Betty, With love, Pat.” Also includes a bookmark with the inscription: “To Mark The Page for Betty and Jason.” Jason being actor and husband Jason Robards.

This book was produced by Patricia Kennedy Lawford for “Ethel and their children, and for his brother and his sisters and their children.” A collection of writings and essays by a whose-who of Kennedy family intimates, including: Ted Kennedy, Jackie Kennedy Onassis, Arthur Schlesinger, Robert McNamara, Dave Powers, Senator George McGovern and many others. Ms. Lauren Bacall was a close confidant of the Kennedy family, campaigning for Robert Kennedy in 1964 during his New York senate run. A fine association copy.
