The Allegory of Love was C.S. Lewis’ first nonfiction publication, beginning a long line of writings that would solidify him as one of the most influential Christian apologists of the last century. Lewis favored themes of mythology, theology, and the Middle Ages as a boy. He received high honors (Firsts) in similar subjects while studying at Oxford University. This book unites those topics and includes many of Lewis’ own translations of poetry originally written in Latin, Middle English, and French.
