Comments: Accompanied by a signed letter from Oliver Wendall Holmes to Henry S. McKean, Esq. of Cambridge. In the letter, he offers this book to “your little boy in my name – with my best wishes.” Oliver Wendall Holmes was an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court and acting Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. He is considered one of the finest jurists to have sat on the bench.
