First edition of The Craft of Intelligence, signed by CIA Director, Allen Dulles.

Octavo, viii, 277pp. Gray cloth over black cloth spine, title in gilt on spine. Stated “First Edition” on copyright page. Faint toning to spine, small stain to bottom edge of text block, otherwise a clean copy, free of any marks. In publisher’s dust jacket, $4.95 retail price on front flap. Remnant of tape on both flaps, likely from previous dust jacket protector. Light toning to spine, but overall a very good example of this dust jacket. Signed by Allen Dulles on the front free endpaper.

Allen Dulles was the Director of the CIA under President Eisenhower from 1953-1961. He served on the Warren Commission in 1963-1964. His brother served as Secretary of State under President Eisenhower.
