Marbled endpapers, turn-ins stamped in blind, decorative gilt board edges. No date on title page, Chapman and Hall with Piccadilly address, “Bradbury, Evans, and Co., Printers” on copyright page. Board edges, spine and joints rubbed. Faint sunning near top edge of back cover. Solid binding, endpapers cracked at front hinge, rear hinge reinforced. Occasional light foxing to interior.
