John W. Rockefeller, Jr. (1899-1987) was an MIT graduate, engineer, author and prominent member of the Rockefeller family.Mary Nichols, the recipient of this book, is the former chairwoman of the California Air Resources Board. She is known as the “Queen of Green” and has been combatting global warming through legislation since the late 1970s.
