Yitzhak Rabin (1922-1995) served as the Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces during the Six-Day War in 1967. Rabin was the Prime Minister of Israel from 1974 to 1977 and again from 1992 until his assassination on November 4, 1995. He played a significant role in the signing of the Oslo Accords in 1993. Rabin was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1994 along with Shimon Peres and Yasser Arafat.
