Previous ownership inscription on front free endpaper, but free of any other marks. In publisher’s bright dust jacket, light wear along top edge, retail price on front flap, faint toning to spine, a near fine example.
The Unknown Soldier by Finnish author Vaino Linna, was first published under the Finnish title of Tuntematon Sotilas in 1954. The first English translation was this copy by William Collins, Sons and later published by G.P. Putnam’s Sons in the United States.
