Jon Meacham won the Pulitzer Prize for Biography in 2009 for his monumental work on Andrew Jackson titled American Lion: Andrew Jackson in the White House. Selected by the Bush Family as the official biographer of President George H.W. Bush, Meacham wrote Destiny and Power: The American Odyssey of George Herbert Walker Bush, which was published in 2015. He delivered the eulogy at the funeral of President Bush in 2018.
