Octavo, x, 447pp, [1pp ad]. Three-quarter navy blue morocco, blue cloth boards, thin gilt trim. Five raised bands, title in gilt on spine. All edges gilt, blue cloth endpapers. Solid text block, faint sunning to front cover and spine. A near fine copy, profusely illustrated by George du Maurier.
Trilby was originally published as a magazine serial split into eight parts in 1894. This complete copy is the first illustrated edition.
