Team of Rivals was a New York Times best-selling history of the Lincoln Administration, which was adapted into a movie in 2012. The movie, Lincoln, was directed by Steven Spielberg and starred Daniel Day-Lewis as Abraham Lincoln.

With these four volumes, Robert A. Caro has authored the definitive history of the life of President Lyndon Johnson, with a 5th volume to cover the last years of his presidency and retirement. The Path to Power, released in 1982, won the National Book Critics Circle Award and was a finalist for the National Book Award. The 3rd volume, Master of the Senate, won the Pulitzer Prize for Biography and the National Book Award for Nonfiction.

John Glenn was the first American to orbit the earth in 1962 and returned to space in 1998. He served in the United States Senate from 1974-1999. His wife, Annie Glenn, was a lifelong advocate for people with disabilities and communication disorders. She died in 2020.
