David Rockefeller (1915-2017) served as the chairman and CEO of Chase Manhattan Corporation. He was the grandson of John D. Rockefeller, founder of Standard Oil Company, and the brother of Nelson Rockefeller, governor of New York and vice president of the United States.

This copy is not numbered and personally inscribed by George Jones and his wife, Nancy Jones. Inscription reads: “To Robert / My Friend / “Love ya” / Nancy Jones.”

Additional inscription: “To Robert, Your the only real true friend I’ve ever had / “We Love You” / George Jones.”

George Jones (1931-2013) was an American country music singer and songwriter. His career began in the 1950s with hits like Why Baby Why and spanned over five decades. Jones recorded more than 150 albums and charted over 160 singles, including White Lightning, She Thinks I Still Care, and He Stopped Loving Her Today, which is often cited as one of the greatest country songs of all time. He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1992.
