Octodecimo, [ii], [1-4], 5-227pp, [1]. Original brown cloth binding, spine rebacked with original cloth laid down. Title printed on later paper label affixed to spine. Solid text block, faint wear and soiling to binding. Foxing throughout, text remains clean and legible. Complete with eleven woodcuts, including frontispiece, all depicting the horrific realities of slavery.
