Publisher’s first state dust jacket, in very good condition, with $4.75 price and ‘8/54’ showing on front flap, tape repair on verso along top edge of spine, light toning to spine, otherwise a bright example.
William Faulkner considered A Fable to be his masterpiece, describing it as “the best work of my life and maybe of my time.” The book won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1955.
