Octavo, xix, 618pp. Beige cloth binding, top edge gilt. Title printed on spine and author’s facsimile signature on cover. Stated “First Edition” on copyright page. This copy appears unread. In the publisher’s original glassine dust jacket, a near fine example. Lacking the publisher’s slipcase.
From a limited edition of 750 signed copies, this being number 688, signed by the author on the limitation page.
Additional inscription by Gen. Bradley on the title page: “For Ed Shelley / With best personal regards and an expression of the pleasure of working with him. Omar N. Bradley.”
This work also includes a Christmas card from Omar Bradley and his wife, Mary, to the Shelley family.
