Anarchism and Other Essays was Emma Goldman’s first published work. It was published in 1910 by Mother Earth Publishing Association, a company Goldman herself founded. This collection of essays presents Goldman’s early anarchist philosophy and her critiques of various social and political issues, including the state, religion, and the justice system. Her essay titled “The Traffic in Women” remains an essential work for feminist scholars.
