A complete set, with frontispiece portrait in both volumes, and 27 full-page illustrations, fold-out maps and period photographs. Both volumes with decorative endpapers, previous ownership notation on title page. Rubbing to boards, some wear to hinges of both volumes. Both text blocks are solid and free of any notations.
