    Quarto, xvi, [96pp]. Gray cloth, title stamped in silver. No additional printings mentioned. Complete with 105 color illustrations of pieces in the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. In publisher’s dust jacket, light chipping to top edge at spine, otherwise a near fine example. Inscribed on the front free endpaper: “The dedication of the New Wing of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. We thank Barbara Bush. July 17, 1981.” Inscribed by the following people: Howard W. Johnson (Chairman of the MFA Board); Blanchette H. Rockefeller; Betty Johnson; John W. White; Kitty White; Catharina Baart-Biddle and Livingston Biddle.

    Barbara Bush visited the Boston Museum of Fine Arts in 1981 for the dedication of the West Wing, now known as the Linde Family Wing for Contemporary Art. Provenance: from the Kennebunkport Public Library in 2019, who acquired numerous books from the Kennebunkport Estate of former President George H.W. Bush and Barbara Bush.
