Octavo, xxvi, [6], 781pp, [1], [10pp advertisements]. Blue cloth, title in gilt on spine, swastika on front cover. Text in German. Top edge blue. Light rubbing to cloth, paper remnant on rear cover. Text is clean and solid. (Pastore 065) Frontispiece portrait with tissue cover. In the publisher’s exceptionally rare dust jacket, tape repairs to both edges, folds to spine, front flap appears to have been previously detached. An example of the fourth state Volksausgabe dust jacket, in use from 1933-1945. Overall a very good copy.
