Description
Signed limited edition of My Experiences in the World War, by General John J. Pershing.
Octavo, two volumes, [xvi], 400pp; [xii], 436pp. Publisher’s tan buckram, printed label on spines and covers. Top edges gilt. Clean pages, uncut. Both volumes appear unread. Subtle spotting to tan cloth of both volumes, which is typical with this set. Housed in custom black cloth slipcase. Both volumes in the “Author’s Autograph Edition” dust jackets, small loss at the head of the spine of Volume I, light soiling to both spines, both near fine examples.
This is a limited edition publication of 2,100 copies, this being number 1051, signed by General John J. Pershing on the limitation page.
An attractive example, with the scarce dust jackets.
