Residual water mark to lower quarter of text block, primarily affecting the front cover and first few pages. In publisher’s near fine dust jacket, light shelf wear, a bright example. Inscribed by Dennis Conner on the half title: “This book is inscribed for my friend George Bush. Thanks for all you have done for America! Dennis Conner is a world champion yachtsman, publisher, writer and teacher. He won the America’s Cup four times and became known as “Mr. America’s Cup” for his lifelong affiliation with the sport. He met Vice President Bush and President Reagan at the White House in 1987 following the America’s Cup victory in Australia.
