Comments: Fred Hixson was a journalist based out of Chattanooga, Tennessee. He covered the 1962 conspiracy trail of Jimmy Hoffa in Nashville, where Hoffa was convicted of jury tampering. He was sentenced to 8 years in prison in 1964.
