Octavo, xi, [2], 364pp. Cloth binding, title in black on spine and front cover. Small illustrated plate mounted to front cover, illustrated endpapers. Spine professionally rebacked, with original spine laid on top. Stated “Fourth Printing June 20, 1923.” Solid text block, worn corners, faint soiling to leaves throughout, a very good example. Faint smoke smell to text block. Previous ownership inscription to front endpaper and half-title. Complete with 20 illustrations, including a color frontispiece protected by captioned tissue guard.
