    Photographer Annie Leibovitz is a Library of Congress Living Legend, and the first woman to have a feature exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery in Washington D.C. Her portraits are recognized as intimate and, at times, controversial. Leibovitz has photographed numerous celebrities for Vogue and Rolling Stone magazine covers but is best known for her Polaroid photo of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, taken five hours before Lennon’s murder.
