This copy is signed by President Jimmy Carter on the half-title. An exceptionally rare book, with only four copies appearing for public sale since its publication.
In 1994, President Carter became the first U.S. President to visit North Korea, where he met with leader Kim Il Sung. In 2019, at the age of 94, President Carter offered President Trump his services and said that he would be willing to return to North Korea to de-escalate growing tensions.
