Marbled endpapers with decorative gilt turn-ins and board edges. Bound by Riviere & Son of London. Solid binding, clean text with no marks or notations. Color frontispiece portrait with tissue cover. Stated on limitation page: “This Collectors’ Edition of The Private Life of Lady Hamilton, printed on Utopian laid paper, for distribution in fine bindings, is limited to five hundred copies, of which this is number 67.” A beautiful example of a Riviere binding.
